Depending on your system, you may need to download a small "Java Runtime" routine, this is a signed set of utilities from Sun Microsystems and is perfectly safe.

If you are unaware of how "chat" works, once logged in your name will appear in the right-hand pane, along with anyone else in the chat room.
If you only intend to visit the room once, then you can log-in as a guest, however, the advantage of registering is that you get to keep your screen username and password each and every time you log in. People do get used to your name and it is a good idea to register your name and use the same name each time you come along to chat.
When you type in the bar at the bottom of the page and click the "Enter" button on your keyboard, your message will be visible to everyone in the room. If you wish to talk to an individual in private, highlight their name in the right hand pane by left-clicking their screen name. You will be notified that you are talking to whoever in private and a symbol, usually "=>" will appear next to the text to show it is a private conversation. Have fun and enjoy.
The room can hold 20 people at any one time and you may wish to form small groups that congregate at certain times to hold private converstations. If this is the case and sufficient use is made of this facility, I will consider adding password facilities for specific groups of people in the future. So, use it, or loose it; but then you probably don't watch Rugby Union. I will monitor things for a while, but if anyone has suggestions they will be looked on kindly.
There may be young children and sensitive adults using this room.
The room is a public room and you will be logged in with your IP address. Abusive and/or threatening language will be frowned upon and I will not hesitate to remove you from the room and you will be banned from further access, so be warned.
